What is it?
A5 Iga beef sirloin from Aoyagi Farm (two 200g steaks) with a 720ml bottle of Hatsuakari junmai daiginjo from Akari Shuzo, a brewery in the same town, presented in a wooden box. Because it contains beef it ships frozen, within Japan only. A bilingual pairing card is included.
What does it taste like?
- Beef: two hand-cut A5 sirloin steaks, BMS 10, 200g each at 2cm thick
- Sake: Hatsuakari junmai daiginjo, 720ml, Yamada Nishiki milled to 40%, 15.5% ABV
- Built as one evening for two; the bottle will keep for the days after
- Around 2.4kg all in, wooden box included

How do you drink it?

The day before: move the beef from freezer to fridge, 12–18 hours to thaw

On the day: beef out of the fridge 30 minutes ahead; sake held at 10–12°C
